If you could have anything you want in life what would it be? ✨

Let's talk vision boarding.

First of all, let’s talk visualisation and manifestation. I’m a very practical person, I’m a problem-solver, I take action. I’m not a very spiritual person, though I have my own way of believing in the energy we put out and get back in this world. But one thing I do believe in is manifestation. Also known as the law of attraction, it’s the idea is that you can bring something tangible into your life through attraction and belief. If you think it, it will come.

However, there is more to it than willpower and positive thinking alone. You can put the route into Google Maps, but someone has to drive the car, right?

Manifesting is making everything you want to feel and experience a reality, through your thoughts, actions, beliefs, and emotions. And the first step to getting there is having your goals really clear.

We’ve talked about goal setting before, but what is a vision board about?

Put simply: it's a visual representation of your goals. It can be a physical poster using magazines or a virtual board you set as your desktop or phone background: using all kinds of images and text that represent something you're trying to accomplish.

Visualizing your goals is an important component of manifestation. Here’s why:

  • It builds your motivation to take necessary action each day.

  • It activates your subconscious mind to help you believe you’re enough and deserve what you want.

  • It programs your brain to find the resources, tools, and skills needed to manifest your dreams and goals.

Creating a vision board

1. Set your SMART goals for your timeframe, see my post for tips.

2. Dig deep into Pinterest! Create a board for each goal or category and find pins that represent your ambitions. The more specific the better, but it can be a mix of details and aesthetics.

3. Remember you’re manifesting your dream life, be ambitious, get personal. No one is judging you.

4. Save all the images you want on your vision board and print them to make a physical board or create a collage on Canva for your phone or computer background.

5. Keep your board somewhere you see it every day, so you have your goals and manifestations as present as possible.

6. And visualise, visualise, visualise!

I adore pinterest.
